Nghi Son orders two water treatment plants from Danieli with >Zero Scale Pit™ solution
The new water treatment plants will complete new caster and rolling mill projects
Following the order for two casters and high-speed rolling mills for bars and wirerod to be installed in Nghi Son Economic Zone in Thanh Hóa province, Vietnam, Nghi Son has renewed its trust in Danieli technology, contracting two water treatment plants to complete the project.
In addition to the open and closed circuits, this plant will be equipped with Danieli innovative solution to treat the contact water (Zero Scale Pit™) with specially designed equipment (Daz-Dredge™) that allows quick sedimentation of the larger, heavier and dangerous particles of scale, and their continuous extraction, drainage and discharging into a proper skip or truck.
The advantage, with respect to the traditional scale pit solution, is a significant CapEx saving in civil works (-30%) and a substantial reduction of execution time (4 months).
